About Me
I am a lifelong drummer, instructor, and performer who believes music should be personal, powerful, and accessible to everyone. I started playing at 14 after earning my first drum kit through hard work—and that passion never left.
Through years of performing, teaching, and navigating personal challenges, including living with OCD, I’ve discovered that drumming is more than music—it’s a path to focus, confidence, and growth. I bring that understanding into every lesson, working with students of all ages and skill levels, including those with ADHD, OCD, and Autism.
My goal isn’t just to teach drums—it’s to help students connect, progress, and experience real success from day one.

Coming soon
An avid drummer, Adam has found hope and healing through the rhythmic bliss of the drum kit. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder has plagued him throughout life, and he still battles it today. Understated and misunderstood, often movies and television depict OCD as light-hearted and comical.
In raw honesty, Adam shares OCD symptoms he endured in each stage of his life, and sheds light on the dark, torturous nature of this disorder. The intensity of his OCD, coupled with religious environments and placing his self-worth on fitting cultural perceptions, was so stressful that it threw him into the horror of psychiatric episodes.
In brutal, raw detail, he describes the terrifying psychiatric symptoms he endured and the arduous journey to reclaim his life. Central to his journey is Christ. Despite the distorted truth OCD created, accepting himself as a drummer was the catalyst that led him to Christ, replacing cultural narratives with gospel truths.
As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Adam pushes forward, and though still flawed, irritable, and imperfect (just ask his bandmates), he has discovered the calming influence of the Atonement of Jesus Christ is as real as the rising sun, and it helps him to improve everyday.

Drum lessons are my favorite part of the week! I love the “pizza pyramid” and playing beats with Adam.
